Minutes of the CIF Floor Meeting
Thursday November 6, 2008
Next Saturday there will be a Smash Bros Brawl tournament co-sponsored with Computer Science Undergraduate Council.
Time: 2pm
Place: CSB 601
Questions: Talk to Robbie.
CIFgiving: reminder it is November 23rd, if you want to help talk to board.
Elections: Nominations are closed, voting takes place in two weeks on November 20th.
The people running are:
Chair: Dan, Isaac
Membership Director: Craig, Isaac
Community Relations Director: Sara, Andy & Ashley, Kaleigh
Technology Director: Isaac, Bryan
Secretary-Treasurer: Jay, Sara
Voting will be done in this order as well.

The nomination period for board positions is now open. For someone to be nominated, the nomination must be seconded, the person must agree and an email to board with that information needs to be sent.
Nominations thus far:

Tech Director: Bryan, Issac
Sec-Tres: Jay
Comm-Rel: Ashley, Sara
Membership: Craig
Nomination period is 2 weeks.
There is a Halloween event being run by Sigma Beta Rho on October 31: If you would like to participate by giving candy to children talk to Gabe.
Current volunteers are: Stacey, Jay, Bryan, Robbie, Dennis, Sara, Kaleigh
We are having a Halloween party on Nov 1st. If you have suggestions of activities/want to help talk to Sara.
CIFgiving: if you are interested in planning, talk to Sara.

Free for alumni
This will help pay for the Dino BBQ food that will be present
Authorized Board to spend up to $450 for food, we do not expect that much to be needed.
Lab: is all set to be used for office hours
talk to Bryan about figuring out a schedule
CIF stuff: There is now a cif store on cafe press, we will be doing a bulk order in the near future.

Minutes of the 8th CIF Floor Meeting
Thursday May 1, 2008 10pm
G: Movie Night tomorrow 9pm - Spaceballs

* food- 3pm
* setup- 1pm
Ch: Personal items cannot be stored in the lab anymore
* This includes "cif property" - furniture that has been passed down over the years
* Store To Door is an option
RA: 24 hour quiet hours have started
* there are flyers about checking out posted and in each suite
* you need to get the check out forms
T: May 9th will be a cage clean out day for those who want to help
* if you have a server that you would like stored for the summer talk to Bryan
* if you have stuff in the cage that you do not want thrown out talk to Bryan
